European Youth Olympic Festival
The largest sporting event organised for the youth with 33 years of tradition. The Youth Olympic Festival was first launched in Brussels, Belgium in 1991. Exactly two years later, winter sports were added to the summer events, with Aosta, Italy hosting the first winter championships .
We will have the honor to welcome top level young athletes from 46 NOCs to compete in 8 sports across Bakuriani, Tbilisi, and Batumi:

- Biathlon
- Cross-country Skiing
- Freestyle Skiing
- Snowboard
- Ice Hockey
- Figure Skating
- Short Track Speed Skating
Georgia is set to host the 17th Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) from February 9 to 16, 2025, with ice hockey girls competitions starting already on 6th February. The Championships will take place in Bakuriani, Batumi and Tbilisi. Georgia officially received the host status in 2020 during the 49th general assembly of the European Olympic Committees.

EYOF Bakuriani 2025 will host around 2 000 participants from 48 European nations for the duration of 1 week. The following 8 sport disciplines will be held within the framework of the Festival:
