Bakuriani 2025 EYOF: Snowboard Big Air Finals Recap

Boys’ Snowboard Big Air Final:

In the boys’ competition, twelve athletes from nine countries took to the air. The standout was Spain’s Unai Lopez Sousa, who clinched the gold medal with a remarkable total score of 171.25. His first run was particularly impressive, scoring 79.25, followed by a stellar second run of 92.00, which secured his lead. Girls’ Snowboard Big Air Final:

The girls’ event featured eight competitors from eight countries, and it was Great Britain’s Emily Rothney who soared to victory. Rothney’s consistent performances included a strong first jump of 73.75 and a best final jump of 83.00, giving her a total score of 156.75.

Aono Pordie Okaniwa from France followed closely with a total of 149.50, while Germany’s Janina Walz secured the bronze with a score of 140.50. The competition showcased not only skill but also sportsmanship, as the athletes supported each other throughout the event.
